Gail McDonald, MD
Gail McDonald is board certified with the American Board of Family Medicine and the College of Family Physicians of Canada. Once she obtained her medical degree from University of Arizona College of Medicine, she practiced at various Indian health centers in New Mexico and Utah. After a Family Practice Residency at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis, she then went to Cape Breton Island, Nova Scotia Canada and worked for 10 years in French, Scottish and M’iq M’aq fishing villages. In 2003 she returned to Tucson and worked at El Rio Health Center where she used her medical Spanish-speaking skills to benefit the general population, homeless population and the mentally ill. She has been with Casa de la Luz since 2016.
