Dr. Ira Byock is a leader in hospice and palliative care, and we were delighted to see his article in the New York Times’ Opinionator section. We welcome his call for “outrage” at the state of how we treat dying in America, and hope that it encourages individuals to consider how they can demand change from our current system.
