Hospice Care & Medicare Part D

| By Jodi Horton

Today, our director of volunteers Carol Clark is in Washington, D.C. with the Hospice Action Network as they request Congress ask the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services to temporarily suspend the Medicare Part D implementation for hospices. Medicare Part D is how many individuals receive access and coverage to necessary medications, and changes in regulation are making it difficult for patients to receive medications and prescription refills. Learn more about this advocacy effort on the Hospice Action Network website.
