Survivors of Suicide Online Support Group

October 22 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm

The death of a loved one by suicide can present special challenges in the grief process. Survivors often experience a greater sense of shock and/or injustice, more feelings of guilt and blame, and a greater sense of helplessness. All of these may potentially complicate the grief process for survivors.

Casa de la Luz offers a safe space for survivors (family, friends and other loved ones of those who have died from suicide) to share their loss with others who are also experiencing similar thoughts and feelings. The series also provides a basic understanding of grief and offers some ideas about how you might be able to begin to move through the process. The group meets online via Zoom and is open to adults (18 years old and above). This eight-series session begins on Thursday October 8, 2020.
