Casa de la Luz Hospice Summer Grief Support Groups

Grief support groups can offer individuals a safe space to understand their grief, learn coping strategies, and share their feelings with others who are also experiencing a loss. Casa de la Luz Hospice is currently forming support groups for the summer. Multiple times are available. Registration is required. All support groups are open to the community and free of charge.

Healing Journeys Support Groups

The first three groups take place at the Casa de la Luz administrative office at 7740 N. Oracle Road, Bldg 7760.

Monday afternoons

July 6 to August 31

2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.

Wednesday evenings

July 8 to September 2

6:00 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.

Thursday mornings

July 9 to August 27

10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

The Healing Journeys group listed below will meet at St. Francis in the Foothills at 4625 E. River Road.

Tuesday mornings

July 7 to September 1

10:00 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.

Survivors of Suicide Support Group

This group is for family, friends, and other loved ones of suicide victims. Survivors often experience a greater sense of shock and/or injustice, more feelings of guilt and blame, and a greater sense of helplessness. The group will meet for eight weeks beginning Tuesday, July 7 at Casa de la Luz Hospice’s administrative office.
