A call to the community

| By Meredith Ford

Across the nation, healthcare providers are facing a shortage of available personal protective equipment (PPE). And Casa de la Luz is no exception. Our local hospice providers are facing increased challenges as we seek to provide care to our patients and families while also protecting our frontline staff.

The Casa de la Luz clinical team provides critically important care to the most vulnerable in our community. Our current PPE supply is stable as we have been preparing for equipment shortages. However, we know the strain on our resources will only continue and we’re concerned about future supply. Which is why we are imploring our community to please contact us if you have access to new/unused surgical gloves, simple masks or N95 masks (or alternative face covers).

Donations can be dropped off at the Casa de la Luz Administrative Office (7740 N. Oracle Rd) Monday through Friday 8am to 5pm.

Call 520.544.9890 or contact us to arrange for local pick up.

Thank you for your support!
