News came out this week that Los Angeles spends the most in the country on end of life care. The article from the LA Times indicates that as a country, we’re still not doing enough to help people receive the kind of care they want when they’re dying.

Preparing for dying is more than just the management of symptoms and illnesses. It’s also the practical considerations, such as burial or cremation.
